Graham studied Art and Drama at the University of Wales and became a highly successful playwright and screenwriter for film and television.
Later, he trained as a sign-writer, and then completed with distinction a two year post-graduate diploma in historic stone carving at City & Guilds Art School in London.
In 2011, he was awarded the City and Guilds Lettercarving Prize.
Graham is based at the Skelton Workshops in East Sussex where he works with Helen Mary Skelton to continue the legacy of her father - the celebrated letter carver and sculptor John Skelton.
Graham has been teaching stone carving and letter-cutting at the Skelton Workshops for several years, with weekly lessons and longer summer schools.
